The French-Icarian Persimmon Tree Cookbook is not presented as a “French” cookbook, but as a collection of treasured recipes from early Icarian immigrants and their descendants.  Many are from Lillian Snyder’s Blue Jay Note Book, and many more are neighbors and friends.
