Baxter's fermenting room received a make over and a new name, "The Stomping Grounds." The Stomping Grounds is the newest addition to Baxter's Vineyards. It opened to the public for private events on January 5th, 2024.
The Stomping Grounds is perfect for wedding showers, baby showers, birthday parties, etc. The functioning fermenting room features our 30+ y/o grape press, crusher, and stainless steal fermenting tanks. Baxter's Vineyards has used the space for their employee parties for many years, now Baxter's amazing customers can utilize it too. The esthetically novel space, representing Illinois' oldest winery, fits up to 30 people. Baxter's can cater to your event with beverages, wine tastings, catered menus, etc.
